The best way to join Tamworth Spartans Volleyball Club is to come along to a training session to see if you like the club, and if so, a committee member can talk through the membership options with you. These are detailed below.
Tamworth Spartans offer a range of payment categories for everyone, with discounts available to those who choose to pay upfront in full or by standing order.
All newcomers to the club are entitled to two free training sessions to decide if we are the club for them - social sessions arenot included in this.
Junior membership pricing can be found on the junior academy pages.
If you are an adult who wants to play for fun, our social session on Wednesday nights is just £5 per session - you can book ojn via our social session page.
Any new joiner will get their two first training sessions for free – after that, players can sign up to become a full member which makes them eligible to be selected for a squad. Social sessions are not counted as free sessions and must be paid for to attend.
A membership year runs from June – May. If you have decided you would like to join, you will need to complete a club registration form which can be sent to you on enquiry. They will also need to pay the relevant Volleyball England affiliation fee (currently £37).
We ask you to either pay upfront for the year or by monthly standing order. You can find out what you get for your money on our Why Us? page.
We do also offer associate memberships of the club for people who do not want to play for a squad but want to play regular volleyball. These sessions offer entry to all adult social sessions, and the possibility of being invited to occasional regional training sessions. Alternatively, you can pay as you go for these Wedesday sessions.
